The problem

The Self-Last Pattern

Everyone matters. Everything matters. Except her.

  • It starts as an act of love. After you became a mom, slowly your needs, wants, interests move to the bottom of the list. Over time, you feel invisible.
  • It feels like an identity problem — "who am I if not just a mom?" It's not. It's a personhood problem: the basic recognition that your wants and needs matter, too.
  • You are not the problem. It's caused by real forces competing for your time, energy, and attention — cultural expectations, family dynamics, workplace structures, economic pressure, technology.
  • Understanding those forces isn't about blame or victimhood. It's about giving you back your agency — the ability to act, not just endure.

"Sacrifice is part of motherhood.
Losing yourself shouldn't be."

You don't have to disappear to be a good mom.

Sound familiar?

Meet her. (Maybe you already have.)

She wonders

  • "Am I invisible now?"
  • "Why do I keep waiting for things to slow down?"
  • "Why do I have to put myself last to make life 'work'?"

She feels

  • Overwhelmed
  • Lonely, disconnected, invisible
  • Frustrated
  • Guilty for wanting more

She believes

  • Life could be different.
  • She just needs someone beside her saying: you're not crazy, you're not selfish. Take up space.
  • She deserves to be here, too.

"Taking care of myself doesn't mean 'me first.'
It means 'me, too.'"

It happened to me, too.
Nikki, founder of New You, Mama

Hi, I'm Nikki.

Founder of New You, Mama.

I'm a mom of 2, Wife. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Corporate professional.

I learned the hard way that while sacrifice is part of motherhood, losing yourself should not be.

I never expected the Self-Last Pattern to be my problem — I was a strong, confident, independent woman. Yet it hit me like a ton of bricks several years into motherhood, when I realized that putting myself last was exactly how I was making my own life work.

Since then, I've been on a mission to break that pattern — learning how it shows up in motherhood, having more fun, and ruthlessly maintaining my personhood as an act of rebellion against the systemic forces that let the Self-Last Pattern thrive in our homes, communities, and workplaces.

Motherhood changed you. It didn't erase you.

The offer

The Founding Cohort

6 weeks · workshop, group coaching, private community & weekly check-in · $199 founding rate · starts October 4

10 spots, max

A 6-week group coaching program, starting October 4, 2026 — one hands-on workshop, weekly group coaching sessions, a weekly check-in, and access to each other in a private community — with weekly experiments to start breaking the Self-Last Pattern in your real life.

This founding rate is lower than what the program will cost later, in exchange for your honest feedback as I refine it. I'm working full-time alongside this, so responses may take a day or two rather than instant — which also means more direct, personal attention than a bigger program allows.

This is for you if

  • You're past the newborn/infant stage
  • You've been waiting for things to slow down, but they're not
  • You're tired of putting yourself last — but don't know where to start
  • You struggle with advocating for yourself
  • You want systems that make life easier — not more complicated

This may not be the right fit if

  • You're looking for instant results without changing your routines
  • You want rigid rules instead of flexible systems
  • You're unwilling to experiment and learn what works for your life
  • You're seeking medical advice or mental health services
Apply to the Founding Cohort I read every application myself. You'll hear back within a couple of days — either an invite to a free consult call, or an honest note if it's not the right fit yet.
